Prologue — black apples on a branch, the chapter visual

This story begins a little over ten years ago, in the Morbihan, with the meeting of two teenagers, Etienne and Mickaël.

At their culinary school, they don't know it yet, but this encounter will mark the start of a great story. Very soon, they discover they share far more than classes: the same curiosity for cooking, a love of service, and a fascination for those places where people gather around a table.

Over the years of study, passion turns into vocation and friendship deepens. Then comes the time to prove themselves. Each takes his own path, gathers experience, learns elsewhere, in the houses where the craft is thought through and lived differently.

But certain ideas keep growing in silence.

A few years later, their paths bring them back together here, in Paris. With time, the desire becomes obvious: to create a place of their own, a place that tells their journey, their influences, and above all their way of welcoming.

This is how Double Impact was born. A place in motion, alive, conceived as an experience where everyone comes to write their own story, their own chapter.

    L'Odyssée

L'Odyssée — ancient submerged relief of two Greek figures and an amphora, the current chapter's visual

Odyssey, feminine noun (ancient Greek Ὀδύσσεια / Odýsseia): a long, eventful, adventurous journey; a long period full of twists and extraordinary events.

The cards have been folded since this morning. Three months spent charting routes, erasing courses, starting over. The crew is ready. The mooring lines too. You were the only one missing.

We set sail this evening. Where to? We have some ideas. The sea will have its own. Every great traveler knows this: you leave a shore with a destination in mind, but it is the detours that give meaning to the journey.

This menu is our starting point. Each plate, a possible stopover. The Odyssey is not a road. It is a series of encounters, trials, discoveries, and metamorphoses.

Through this menu, we invite you to journey across the Mediterranean of its origins. The one where stories are born from the waves, where landscapes preserve the memory of passages, and where every horizon promises a story.

This is not a route. It's an invitation to the unknown. Welcome aboard.
